About Gill Mason
Qualified as a Social Worker in 1985 with experience of local authority adult social care including a multi disciplinary dementia specialist team. I was an Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) for 10 years and a trained Best Interests Assessor. I have been an Independent Social Worker since 2014. I provide mental capacity assessments in accordance with the MCA 2005, comprehensive care assessments and reviews and evaluation of care standards. A member of the Brain Injury Social Work Group (BISWG) and Meaningful Matters. I believe in promoting choice, dignity and respect for those who are vulnerable through mental or physical illness and disability or in their role as a carer.
