Worked in social care since 1988, qualified SW since 2003 and BIA in 2011. Court of Protection Visitor since 2022. Independent SW since 2023. Substantial experience of executive dysfunction & mental capacity assessment. CoP work since 2014 (s21a challenges and COPDOL) and s49 reports. Expertise working with people whose behaviour is eccentric, putting them at substantial risk of harm, managing risk & supporting independent living. I work collaboratively to achieve good outcomes & passionate about mental capacity, human rights, effective communication. I am a strong advocate for my clients. I can provide bespoke training workshops on practical skills for mental capacity assessment.
